Crypto.com DeFi Wallet generates a 12-word recovery phrase using the BIP39 standard. Coin Wallet meets the requirements of this standard.

How to migrate from Crypto.com DeFi Wallet?

1. To migrate your bitcoins from the Crypto.com DeFi Wallet, first locate your recovery phrase. Here's how to find it on your iPhone.

2. Log in to your existing Coin Wallet account by entering the 12 words of a recovery phrase from the Crypto.com DeFi Wallet.

It is complete! Bitcoins can now be spent.

Derivation paths

Since Ethereum and some other coins have different derivation paths than the defaults, there is one more setting that needs to be set.

1. Select Ethereum.

2. Open the "Derivation Path" page.

3. Enter m/44'/60'/0'/0/0 and hit the "Save" button.

For other coins, use the paths listed below:

  • Arbitrum One: m/44'/60'/0'/0/0
  • Avalanche: m/44'/60'/0'/0/0
  • Binance Smart Chain: m/44'/60'/0'/0/0
  • Polygon: m/44'/60'/0'/0/0
