How to Migrate Monero from Exodus to Coin Wallet

According to a statement from the Exodus team, the platform will end support for Monero (XMR) on August 10, 2025. After this date, you’ll no longer be able to send, receive, or manage XMR in Exodus. The solution is to migrate to another wallet. In this article, we will find out how to migrate your XMR before support ends.
What is Monero?
Monero is a private, decentralized, open-source cryptocurrency created in 2014. It is often used to protect personal financial data or transfer value privately because the coin offers one of the highest levels of security and anonymity on the market — making it nearly impossible to trace the sender, recipient, or transaction details.
Monero uses Stealth Address technology that generates a unique, one-time address to hide each recipient's information. In addition, ring signatures hide who sent the transaction, and Bulletproofs hide the amount of the transaction.
To retain access to your XMR after August 10, 2025, you should transfer it from Exodus to Coin Wallet before August 10, 2025.
How to Transfer Monero from Exodus to Coin Wallet
The only way to transfer Monero now is by sending it directly from Exodus to Coin Wallet.

Step 2. Open Exodus, select Monero, tap “Send,” and enter the amount. If you want to transfer all assets, click to “All.”

Step 3. Paste your Coin Wallet address and confirm sending.
Step 4. Accept a Monero transaction in Coin Wallet. Read how to do it correctly in our support article.
