Ethereum Classic only has one type of original address. An Ethereum Classic address is a 42-character hexadecimal address derived from the last 20 bytes of the account's public key, beginning with 0x. An Ethereum Classic address with capital letters contains a checksum (EIP55). As a result, you may prefer the checksummed address version, though both are acceptable.
