Stellar (XLM) uses a single address type, or public key format, as its developers refer to it. Addresses always begin with "G", are 56 characters long, and contain alphanumeric characters in uppercase.

There is also a federated address format, though it is not very popular.

You need to give someone your address in order to receive XLM. If you want to send somebody XLM, check all the letters and numbers in the destination address twice before you confirm the transfer.
