Fantom address example
Fantom (FTM) supports a single kind of address. A Fantom address is a 42-character hexadecimal address generated from the last 20 bytes of the account's public key. The prefix "0x" is used to begin forming the address. A Fantom address in capital letters (EIP55) indicates the use of a checksum. Either version will work; you might even prefer the checksummed address version.
The following are examples of Fantom addresses:
- 0x52ceba41da235af367bfc0b0ccd3314cb901bb5f of the
- 0x52CEba41Da235Af367bFC0b0cCd3314cb901bB5F (checksum)
Just provide your Fantom address to the sender to receive FTM or additional tokens. Before completing the transaction, it is advised that you check the address one more time, paying attention to all the letters and numbers.
