Trustee Wallet is an open-source, non-custodial multi-currency wallet available for iOS and Android devices. It offers a referral program for users. Please do not confuse this wallet with Trustee Plus, which is a completely different crypto wallet with phone authentication and a custodial architecture. Do not confuse it with Trust Wallet.

Trustee Wallet generates a 12-word recovery phrase based on the BIP39 standard. Coin Wallet meets the specifications of this standard.

How to migrate from Trustee Wallet?

1. To migrate your bitcoins from Trustee Wallet, first locate your 12-word recovery phrases. Here's how to find it on iPhone with Trustee Wallet.

2. Log in to your existing Coin Wallet account using the 12-word recovery phrase from Trustee Wallet.

Work completed! You can now spend your Bitcoin.

Derivation paths

Because the default derivation paths for Ethereum and some other coins differ, one additional setting is required.

1. Select Ethereum.

2. Go to the "Derivation Path" page.

3. Enter m/44'/60'/0'/0/0, then click the "Save" button.

Use the following paths for other coins:

  • Binance Smart Chain: m/44'/60'/0'/0/0
  • Ethereum Classic: m/44'/60'/0'/0/0
  • Polygon: m/44'/60'/0'/0/0
  • TRON: m/44'/195'/0'/0/0
